When it came to the best eyeglass brands for buying glasses, the stock solutions companies didn’t get exactly what they wanted.
As Google’s business continues to grow, the company is looking to bring eyewear into the mainstream through products like its EyeTap, which allows users to capture and capture and save their eyes as well as their thoughts.
The company also announced a $1,000,000 investment in eye-tracking startup Lighthouse, a move that will give Lighthouse a foothold in the eyewears market and help the company gain more users.
And then there is Lighthouse Labs, a company that helps developers create apps that use Google’s technology to help users improve their visual performance.
There are many companies and individuals out there that want to make glasses that look great for consumers, but what is often overlooked is the eye-wear technology itself, said Peter Renn, senior VP of product strategy at Lighthouse.
Renn said the company’s EyeTap technology allows users the ability to quickly record their eye movements.
“It is an extremely powerful platform that we are bringing to market,” he said.
When it comes time to select eyeware options, Renn said it can be a little tricky to find eyewares that match the needs of a consumer.
For example, many brands have a limited selection of eyewashes for men, and it can make it difficult for the wearer to know which eyewash is best suited to them.
While some companies have tried to provide the best possible value, Rynn said he thinks it’s time for the industry to look beyond the eyeglasses and look at other areas of technology.
According to Rynne, the glasses market has grown in leaps and bounds since Google launched its Glass initiative in 2014.
A big reason for the growth is because consumers have been demanding more from eyewords and eyewave solutions, he said, and that’s what Lighthouse is aiming to address.
